Luxury Living on Broad Street
The Griffin consists of two interconnected historic buildings located at 215 and 217 Broad Street, Rome Georgia, which were originally constructed in the 1880’s. Originally both buildings were owned by William J. Griffin, who was the proprietor of Griffin Hardware Company. The Griffin has been historically preserved following the National Park Service guidelines for historic preservation. While both buildings are historic, they have been rehabilitated with energy efficiency in mind, and are qualified under the Georgia Power Energy Improvement program.
The Griffin consists of a total of 15 luxury apartments and seven retail spaces. There are one, two and three (penthouses) bedroom apartments available. All original hardwood flooring and brick walls have been preserved. The Griffin is the only residential property on Broad Street with two decks– one with a covered roof and bar area for entertaining. One deck overlooks Broad Street, while the other has quiet views of The Oostanaula River.
